m a u r i t i u s

What an adorable, fantastically historical country. I absolutely adored getting to spend 6 days on this little island learning all I could about the the British indentured servant trade, the way tea is produced/enjoyed, and how cool waterfalls are.

I won't bog you down with all of the details of my day to day life, but Mauritius has become so precious to me. I've added photos of some of my most favourite moments throughout my time there.

If you want to hear more about any of the places I've been to, don't hesitate to reach out for tea when the coronavirus quarantines end or over the interwebs.

Me, in Mauritius (photo taken by my good friend Sean)

National dance called "sega": incredibly beautiful and energizing

Port Louis, Mauritius

Botanical gardens: oldest in the southern hemisphere

Bois Cheri Tea Plantation: the most amazing place in the world.

Seven-coloured earth: waving from miles away

Port Louis, Mauritius: perhaps the best photo I've ever taken
